Heated towel rails generally rely on the hot water of a central heating system passing throught it, like a central heating radiator. The range has on most types the extra facility of having an electric option, including a thermostatic electric and the new dual fuel function.

The electric option allows the heated towel rail to be used in rooms excluded from the central heating system with the thermostatic being the same as the electric but with the added benifit of allowing the temperature to be set/controlled to the desired temperature.

The new dual fuel function allows the fitting of an electical element (non-thermostatic or thermostatic) to enable the towel rail to be heated when the centralheating is not in use, such as during the summer months.

H = The height of the towel rail e.g. H750 = 750MM high. The height generally dictates the heat output
