With 8,200 employees, sales of more than 2.4 million appliances and a turnover of 1.6 billion Euro Vaillant are a leading heating technology company in Europe. At the same time they are holding strong positions in important product segments like wall-hung, floor-standing, hot water and electric appliances with the most comprehensive range in the industry. Increasingly heating techniques based on renewable energy, like solar systems, photovoltaic systems and heat pumps, are also added to the range.

Their success is based on research and development which in turn is consistently led by customer requirements. Their R&D organisation with its 350 staff is one of the largest and most creative in our industry. They hold numerous patents and apply for about 100 new ones each year.

Their international heating technology business in Europe and Asia, as well as to a limited extent through exports to Africa, the US and South America, is a global network with external partners and 70 own sites. This includes 14 production and 7 research and development sites in 7 European countries. Overall, the Vaillant Group and its heating technology products are present in more than 100 countries of the world.
